The Branch IS Support has resp. for the optimization, maintenance and support, Appl. used in the branches.
Adhere to the Company's policies and procedures
Demonstrate and be an advocate for the Culture of the Company
Promote and advocate the role and responsibility of IS within the branch
Build strong professional relationships at all levels within the Branch including Managerial.
Mentor, Train and coach non-IS staff on the basic tools and IS skills needed at the branch
Comm. clearly to Branch Management, data management, retention and reporting, and other available IT tools to improve processes, productivity & customerservice.
Give support and maintain the business critical systems and hardware within the branch.
Facilitate and identify needs and solutions within the Branch and escalate these needs and solutions up to the Regional IS manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides user support & troubleshooting of problems using skills learned and be able to re-direct the problem to specialists in time if a solution cannot directly be found
Availability when "after-hours" IS support is needed such as Server replacements and other critical IS tasks at the working Branch.
Maintains & evolves the organizations technical capabilities
Available to work/standby in after hour or weekend Stand-by shift once every three - four weeks.
Resp. for adhering to and following Corporate policies toward data, backup and data protection are in effect for all branches in the region.
Resp. for hardware & software installation, monitoring & recovery
Supports local & I&T special projects
Held accountable to specific support KPI's set by Regional IS Management
Understand and execute against business plan for the IS team
Promote IS and create awareness of cyberattacks at Branch meetings.
Task & Responsibilities:
Complete the Basic IS Task lists on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Manage the procedures are completed on time and correctly.
Manage User Set-ups through SAR and IDM
Trouble shoot hardware: PC's, laptops, printers, and software: UNIX / Windows servers as required
Understand Network policies , LAN, IP Standards.
- To possess the skills to work on IT related issues
- work experience in IT technical support function.
- knowledge in managing branch IT infrastructure (Servers, IT Networks, PCs and mobile devices, IT peripherals)
- Proficient in MS Office Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Access, etc.
- Good understanding of logistics operations (preferred but not mandatory)
- Ability to multi-task and execute projects on time
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good presentation and negotiation skills
