As a junior warehouse employee you will work on everything related to the physical cargo handling. Together with your team you are responsible for the correct execution of the accurate construction / breakdown of the air cargo. In addition, you ensure that everything is prepared in time before the air freight is transported.

Handling of air freight in accordance with the applicable guidelines and procedures, in accordance with the applicable quality standards.
Ensuring adequate / up-to-date knowledge of the adjustments in procedures.
Supporting the construction of aircraft plates (ULD, unit load device).
Correct binding / netting of built-up aircraft plates.
The breaking of aircraft plates is also part of the duties of a junior pilot employee.
Delivering controlled and stored import freight to customers.
Locating and moving delivered export cargo.
Ensuring a clean working environment.
Performing work on the platform.

Functie-eisen

Job requirements for the junior Warehouse Employee

VMBO / MBO working and thinking level.
Knowledge of the Dutch language in word.
Global knowledge of the English language.
Able to perform physical work - safely.
Work is performed on a continuous shift, including weekends.
Completion and maintenance of the internal training program.
At least 8 years in the Netherlands in connection with VGB (declaration of no objection).

A monthly salary between € 2100 - € 2300 gross (excluding shift work allowance)

We are looking for enthusiastic warehouse employees for a large cargo handler at Schiphol. Both experienced and starters as well as retraining staff, for example from the catering industry (due to shifts)
