As a Product Head Airfreight Europe worker you are Responsible for creating product & pricing solutions for general cargo sales.

Help develop a partner network in Europe that enables THE COMPANY to offer shipment solutions across all European countries
Responsible for the negotiation and procurement of 3rd party vendor services, including rates, especially with airlines
Responsible for developing and maintaining airfreight strategic key accounts in collaboration with the sales team
Responsible for product input into strategic RFP’s and RFQ’s
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors in the supply chain, including first/last mile suppliers, truck operators and airlines
Provide internal customers (e.g. Business Units and HQ) with the required information and the right operational outcome in line with agreed customer contracts and SLA’s
Support the operational execution and commercial achievement of business objectives, including vendor procurement

Functie-eisen

Procurement Management Product Head Airfreight Europe:
• Manage logistics providers and ensure best value within defined targets
• Lead discussions with airlines, airline handling sheds and others in the value chain for THE COMPANY, ensuring best value for THE COMPANY through best practice procurement
• Monitor airline performance and initiate corrective actions if necessary
• Manage allocated capacity and monitor carrier invoicing
• Ensure adherence to global decisions (rates, process, etc.)

General Product Head Airfreight Europe:
• Develop and maintain high standards in all aspects of the operation including good staff relations, excellent teamwork with other departments and external partners
• Develop with others in the business, short and medium terms plans to improve quality of service delivery and improve productivity within defined parameters
