📦 What will you do as a Freight Forwarder Road Transport Europe?
As a Freight Forwarder Road Transport Europe, you are responsible for coordinating international road transport within Europe:
✈️ Coordinate shipments across Europe (road transport)
📞 Communicate with customers and carriers
📋 Check and process transport bookings
📄 Prepare transport instructions and documentation
💰 Negotiate rates with subcontractors
📍 Monitor shipments and resolve irregularities
⚡ Provide ad-hoc quotes for non-standard shipments
🛃 Ensure correct handling of customs-related processes and documentation
✅ What do you bring with you as a Freight Forwarder Road Transport Europe?
🚛 Experience as a freight forwarder / transport planner (preferred)
🌍 Strong knowledge of European transport networks
🗣️ English-speaking is sufficient (no Dutch required)
💻 Experience with customs declaration software, Cargowise, is required!
📊 Commercial and administrative skills
📑 Knowledge of CMR, IMCO and transport regulations
🖥️ Experience with Office and TMS systems
